What is Laminated glass
Laminated glass are made up of two or more sheets of glass bonded together with a glue interlayer. After the glue has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. This results in the complete adhesion of the glue and the glass.
In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain bonded to the glue interlayer. In a fully framed conventional installation the glass fragments are held together and the glass retains a residual strength while await replacement.
If the glass breaks, it remains adhered to the interlayer reducing the risk of injury and maintaining its integrity.

1.What is Thermochromic Sun-shading PVB Interlayer (ST I)
Thermochromic Sun-Shading PVB interlayer (STI) is a kind of intermediate layer material for dry laminated glass. It is composed of about 80% polyvinyl butyral resin powder and 20% photothermal macromolecule nanomaterials. The interlayer is made by tape casting equipment. Various color systems can be synthesized according to different formulations. The base color of the STI can be determined at room temperature of 25ºC. With the increase of temperature, the color of STI changes from light to deep.
STI has the same cohesiveness and safety as traditional PVB interlayer material. It can be combined with various glasses to make safety glasses with thermochromic, shading, heat insulation and energy saving.
STI meets the standard requirements of GB/T32020-2015 "Polyvinyl butyral interlayer" and "JC/T 2166-2013 polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer for laminated glass", and has passed the test of China National Safety Glass and Quartz Glass Test Center.
STI can be used for making thermochromic sun-shading glass (STG) by dry sandwich equipment, which can improve the performance and strength of glass obviously, and has the functions of intelligent color change, sun-shading, energy saving,safety, beauty, transparency, anti-glare and privacy.

3.Photochromic PVB interlayer laminated glass(STG)
STG can block more than 99.5% of the ultraviolet rays and 85% of the infrared rays in the solar light, reduce the solar radiation heat and save energy. And it does not need any additional power supply and electronic control devices, but through the absorption of sunlight energy, Autonomous color change, intelligent shading.
STG always keeps transparent in the process of color changing and shading, and has excellent visual effect. By adjusting the visible light transmittance and shading coefficient, the glare can be reduced, the visual comfort can be increased, and the light indoor can be kept soft.
STG can be used with conventional glass deep processing configuration such as tempering, semi-tempering, hollow, vacuum, low-E, etc. to form one or more hollow or vacuum glass chambers, to provide customers with a complete set of sun-shading glass solutions.
Compared with other sun-shading products, STG costs less, and with the whole life cycle of the building, there is no need for follow-up maintenance costs.
